Nothing is more important for a good night's sleep than a comfortable mattress. These premium quality mattresses are made from the finest natural and organic materials by a long-established company that specialises in natural bedding. All three mattresses are based around pure natural latex. Made from the frothed-up milk of the rubber tree, natural latex contains millions of tiny air bubbles and is unsurpassed in its resilience. It is a soft material that gives precisely at the point where it is subject to pressure and immediately springs back to its original shape when pressure is released, adapting exactly to the contours of the body. Two of these very special mattresses combine the unique resilience of natural latex with the advantages of another remarkable natural material, rubberised coir, and they are perfect for those that like their mattress to be a little firmer. Coir comes from the robust fibres of the coconut shell and is made highly elastic by a coating of natural latex milk. This rubberised coir is a firm and springy material with excellent temperature regulating qualities. The natural and superb quality of the material in these mattresses makes them extremely comfortable. The inner core of each mattress is enclosed in a thick fleece of naturally reared Merino lambswool, which allows air to circulate and maintain an even temperature, and is completed with an easily removable organic cotton drill cover which is machine washable. All mattresses carry the QUL seal of approval, which means they meet the strictest criteria for latex mattresses currently in force in Germany, and all comply with British standard BS7177 for fire safety yet have not been treated with any fire retardants. a. Pure Latex Mattress. Bringing you all the benefits of natural latex, this mattress will perfectly adapt itself to the contours of your body every time you move. Suitable for people who prefer a soft mattress. b. Rubberised Coir Sandwich Mattress. Our sandwich mattress combines alternate layers of soft natural latex with firmer springy rubberised coir to offer excellent support and optimum ventilation. c. Latex Coir Mattress. Enjoy the best of both worlds with our reversible natural latex and rubberised coir mattress, which features one layer of soft natural latex and one layer of firm, springy coir. By simply turning the mattress over, you can adapt your bed to the way you want to sleep. Together the mattress is medium to firm. Please note that these mattresses are handmade to order so please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. A 20% deposit is required when placing the order. When ordering this product please fill in the full price on your order form. If paying by credit card 20% will be charged upon receipt of order as a non-refundable deposit. If paying by cheque, your cheque will be cashed upon a receipt of order. Please note the prices below are sample prices for you to use purely as a guide.
