This Samu Laundry Liquid is a liquid form of our popular soap nuts and can be used in place of your normal washing powder or liquid. This Samu Soap Nut Laundry Liquid can provide relief to people with allergies, allow colours to remain brighter for longer, and avoid the use of softener. It has a Saponia content of 6-8%. Biodegradable laundry cleaning grown from a tree… The soap nut tree grows in India and produces these amazing nuts. The particular soap nuts used to make this Laundry Liquid are collected by tribal people and small-scale farmers in India and then fairly traded with Planet Pure, who guarantees these farmers are paid a fair price for the nuts. The nuts are then packaged in Austria, as part of the amazing social project. Planet Pure This Samu Laundry Liquid is part of a fantastic range of cleaning products that is supplied to us by an amazing organisation, Planet Pure, who aims to reduce its environmental impact to an absolute minimum. The whole range is designed to produce minimal impact on aquatic organisms and is produced using renewable plant-based ingredients. We were really impressed at the efforts they go to at each stage of the production process to ensure social and environmental responsibility. They even make a special point of employing socially disadvantaged people (currently around 40% their workforce in Austria) - especially in the production process, where they try to avoid machine processing wherever possible. They have also initiated an aid project: `Children and the Environment' in Himachal Pradesh in the Himalayas. Please note: We do not recommend that this product is used by people with nut allergies.
