This stunning Solar Star Light Set consists of a string of 8 "starburst" solar-powered LED lights that constantly change colour. Ideal for use under parasols, trees and bushes, indoors and out, these super-bright LEDs will give up to 6-8 hours of use at night once fully charged, via a separate bracket-mounted solar panel, during normal daylight. These lights would usually contain rechargeable NiCad batteries but NiCads contain toxic cadmium (booo!) and are more polluting to manufacture. So to bring them in line with all our other specially selected solar products, we have had the batteries in these lights especially changed over to rechargeable NiMH batteries which are better (yay!), so now these Solar lights are real Eco Stars! Key features: Contains replaceable, rechargeable NiMH batteries; Manual on/off over-ride switch; Clear cord; Lights are positioned 90cm apart; Total length: L6.75m; Each star is approx. 10cm in diameter. Please note this Solar Star Light Set is for temporary outdoor use as it is not waterproof.
